Materia is a Latin term meaning “matter” or “substance”, probably from the phrase “materia magica” (materials for magical rituals). The Materia from this Pendant is a big Aqua colored sphere of crystallized Spirit Energy. This is a powerful symbolic Pendant, ideal for a strong spirited person.
The orb will hold a charge for some time after being left in the light for a few minutes. It gets more powerful if charged with real sunlight, but normal house lighting will allow it to charge as well. Keep in mind that since this is Spirit Energy, it gets weaker over time and, after the initial high glow period it will settle to a duller glow that can be seen for some ime but only in total darkness.
This Listing includes a UV blacklight keychain which allows the user of the Pendant to charge the orb anywhere he/she goes.
