“Materia is a Latin term meaning “matter” or “substance”, probably from the phrase “materia magica” (materials for magical rituals). It is also the Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese for the word “subject” and, once again, “matter”.

The Materia from this Pendant is a colored sphere of crystallized Spirit Energy which allows its user to cast various magic spells and use special abilities. An ancient sterling silver locket cage, holds the sphere in order to protect it from the Elements.
Each orb is handcrafted by a Soul Jeweler, so each one will have unique shapes. The orb will hold a charge for some time after being left in the light for a few minutes. It gets more powerful if charged with real sunlight, but normal house lighting will allow it to charge as well. Keep in mind that since this is a Spirit Energy, it gets weaker over time and, after the initial high glow period it will settle to a duller glow that can be seen for a long period of time but only in total darkness.
This Listing includes a UV blacklight keychain which allows the user of the Pendant to charge the orb anywhere during his Quest.
IMPORTANT – Do not force to open the locket. The tiny opening handle is tightly shut to the locket.
